What's the major differences between involute spline angle 30deg, 37.5deg and 45deg PA in terms of torque capacity, ease of installation, fit, etc.

Also what is the playing role of Number of teeth in the above selection. What i am trying to figure out is I have a 1.69" shaft that need involute spline but don't know which type to choose.

Thanks in advance

30 degrees is most common.
37.5 an 45 degrees PA splines are used usually if manufactured by rolling.
If you'll cut the spline, select standard dia pitch (module) 30 degree spline.
