IPW visualization in NX 7.5 and NX 8.5

Hello,

I have a problem in visualization of IPW created in manufacturing in 3d visualization

I get different views in NX 7.5 and NX 8.5 for same process followed

I require output as 7.5 image in NX 8.5

Currently using NX 8.5

can any one guide me to get it. Let me know if i need to make some changes in settings

Check the customer defaults. The OOTB values for tolerance or needle counts may have changed.

Can you let me know, where under customer defaults I can control the above specified changes. You may also provide me a snapshot of same for the right default values to be set.

I have already tried this option now the values kept are same default in my NX

Do you have you NX7.5 customer defaults or *.dpv file. so we can compare.

Since the defaults were expanded and reorganized back in NX 8.5, you probbably can't do a straight comparison. You can read about what the settings do in the NX 8.5 What's New Guide under CAM > CAM General > IPW tolerance settings consolidated.
