Is it possible to use NXOpen Libraries for NX higher version?

I'm NX7.5 user.

I wanna use some new functions of higher version in NX7.5.
My guess is.... if current ver DLLs(NXOpen.dll, etc) are replaced with higher ver(8 or 9) then the code made with new functions may be compiled without problem. But I wonder it is working properly in NX 7.5

Under NO circumstances should you EVER copy DLL's from one version NX to another, whether you've trying to mix new with old or vice sersa. This just does NOT work, EVER!!!

you can always try, but not on a production machine. use your home machine, virtualbox etc.

no-no-no,
imagine that you get it working,and you spend much work on your models,
and then somebody else needs to open your parts, but they do not have your dll's...
Or, if your parts gets corrupted, - who are you going to call for help ?

Why not upgrade instead ?
