Hi All,

I mainly come from a pressure vessel background where vessel are designed to conform with ASME Div 8 or PD5500. I was wondering if there is a similar standard for pressure systems either hydraulic or pneumatic?

Any information is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

There are many. One example is ANSI B31.

It will depend on the industry, the service (fluid type/temperature/pressure), location, and Owner requirements.

See also NFPA, National Fluid Power Association.
