So i have a assembly of parts on right hand side. I mirrored the whole thing to left hand side. Now the shop floor changed something, but it's only on the right hand assembly. How do i isolate the left hand symmetry. I isolated all the links coming out of each part on left hand symmetry....but it still updates when i change the right hand side.
Help!!!

Hi spider007,

Try going in the part created by the symmetry feature, and then isolate the solid body to which it refers to.

Try doing the following: open "Symmetry of <__your_part__>.CATPart", then go to Solid.1 in the tree and right-click it and from Solid.1 object click isolate.

Hope this helps!

Best of luck!

Weird...it worked on a simple test assembly but not on my actual assembly...I ended up using "copy/paste as result" on the symmetry assembly. Quick and dirty. Probably gives some guys here goosebumps. [flush2]
