I am drawing a blank on this, can't find anything from my usual sources.

I am looking for any reproduction of the Kopp & Sayre paper on flanged and flued (thick wall) expansion joints. I've got software to run them, but I don't have anything to tell me what all the different variables mean. Not 100% comfortable with that situation.

I don't mind spending something, but not quite ready to shell out $200 for a book that may or may not contain what I am after. Any help out there?

Thanks,

Mike

SnTMan,
The Kopp & Sayre method is used in the PV Elite for a few years now. Mandeep Singh from PV Elite advised the method is described and discussed in 'Design of Process Equipment' by Kanti Mahajan, in accordance with the original Kopp & Sayre paper 1952. Please note that Mandeep is member of Eng Tips forum, he could bring some more light to the topic. Hope this helps. Cheers, gr2vessels
