Hello to you all,
I have been using KYPipe for hydrualic analysis of gravity systems. I am analysing a gravity main (50.44km in length), starting off with a 600mm diameter and narrowing down to 500mm towards the end of the line. Along the length of the line, the pipeline diverges into 3 separate pipelines flowing to reservoirs in different areas. I have managed to analyze the system in KYPipe using a Demand-driven analysis.
However, I would like to analyze this system using Pressure-driven analysis, whereby I can set the flow capacity at the source of the pipe and let it flow freely into all 3 pipes, without putting any demand constraints. This would help me verify the flows in each pipe, regardless of the demand being fixed.
I am also new to using Epanet and I am still struggling to model this scenario in that.
Please do let me know if any one of you has come across this. Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks!
