This is my first post so please forgive me if I couldn't find a similar post. I've been to 3dconnexion.com and downloaded both files for my CPU nothing works! I'm running Solidworks 2003 on a windows 2000 based machine, so far I've got 4 drivers and still nothing.... have I wasted $200?

Why are you getting drivers from 3dconnexion when you have a Labtec product?

Make sure you go to tools->add-ins and make sure you have checked the box for 3D Controls.

Don't worry about people stealing your ideas. If your ideas are any good, you'll have to ram them down people's throats.

I am also using Solidworks 2003 and a spaceball 400 flx. I go to tools> add-ins and check everything there to no avail. It still doesnt work.

I have 3D content central & 3d instsnt website, nothing about 3d controls.
Please help, Its very frustrating.

Eurika!

I have just re installed the spaceball software and all is fine with the world and Solidworks.

B18c5rjdm. Try re installing after installing solid works. Then Scorch's info is spot on. I just needed that eureka moment.
