Hi,
Can anyone help me?
I'm fairly new to NX, working on NX4. I am working in context on an assembly (we'll call it "assm"). I've created a part (we'll call it "part1") within the assembly and made it the work part, with layer 1 as the work layer. "assm" is still the displayed part.
When I create sketches, datums and features etc. in "part1", they all show up on layer 1, as they should.
When I move them to other layers using the move to layer command, they are moved to the other layers. By clicking MB3->Information on the feature/sketch/datum I can see that they are on the correct layers. However, they still show up in the part navigator as being in layer 1.
This makes it very difficult to tell which layer the feature\datum\sketch is on. I have to click MB3->Information every time.
When I make "part 1" the displayed part, I can move items to layers and the correct layer shows up in the part navigator.
Has anyone else had this problem? If so did you find a solution? I'm very confused so any info would be very helpful.
Many thanks,
Tom
