Leonardo da Vinci and BPVC

Just out of curiosity, what is the relation between the da Vinci work and BPVC? Why did they choose that for the cover page?

The first documented pressure vessel design (1495) was written by da Vinci.

He even gave it a name that we still use today - Codex Madrid I. Genius!
(I wish he could reappear for 5 minutes today, long enough to show how Elon Musk is not the genius the interweb proclaims him to be.)

Cannon barrels of the day probably came closer than anything da Vinci thought up.

Probably about as relevant as the tank that used to be on the cover, it isn't even a sketch of the alleged pressure vessel concept.

Seems to me like the marketing department's interpretation of engineering, explaining it to them doesn't work, I have been through that before..
