Hi all,

My workstation was upgraded from SW2008 to 2009 SP2.0. A few problems encountered & they were fixed.

One problem really troubles me and the upgrade changed all line thickness by itself. This caused problem in printing & editing existing/ new drawings. In 2008, it was easy to change it & it is a one time deal. Also, setting is a gobal parameter, which I don't need to care for other dwgs. I went to print\ line thickness setting. In 2009, however, it only applies to each individual dwg, and need to do for each one. That is a pain!

Is there any way to get around this? Please advise.

Save a drawing template (.drwdot) with the line thicknesses you want. That way, every drawing you create using your template will have the correct line types.

Thanks engd, I already did. It worked.

The other side of the coin is to fix the printing of existing drawings.

I've done something similar in '08. I have been able to delete the old sheet format and then load a newly designed one with the properties I really want. I do not know if your line properties will update since I'm still stuck in the 08's
