Hey guys, My fist thread, I have searched the forums and found tons of valuable information so thanks everyone!!

So i'm consulting for a friend and he has a design of a plunger-like design that will be used to dispense ketchup and such substances. He would like me to create a video of the motion and incorpoarte a liquid dispensing.

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks!

You can animate a drop shape moving from the bottle, but not a true animation of the bottle squeezing and liquid flowing.
Look into Motion Study. There are books and YouTube videos to explain more. I personally rarely do animation.

I added a part to move with the plunger so when i move the plunger down the part comes out... is that what you meant?

You can also create a blank part in the context of the assembly that contains a cut command and drive its position with a distance mate. That will adjust the level of your fluid in the syringe as you move it. Probably would be easier to design the fluid part in the context of the assembly and have it constrained between the plunger and the housing so that it shrinks as you depress the handle. There are a bunch of ways to do it, but I would start by scouring the web and checking out Rob's site:
