Live Load Reduction For Different Uniform Loads

Hi all,

If a member's tributary area includes a 40 psf region (living space) and a 100 psf region (public walkway), am I allowed to reduce both of those live loads individually according to IBC 2015 1607.10.1 OR ASCE7-10 4.7?

Yes.

Cannot reduce any LL over 100 psf though.
