Hi to everyone, i ve this problem:
i've defined 1 load step with 10 loads.
I want to put all 10 loads in 1 load. It is possible to do it ? (without deleting them and doing it again).
In hypermesh this is possible by ORGANIZE COLLECTOR.

thank you.

agreed, maybe !? ... what FEA code ? "1 load step" ... time step loads ?? or do you mean 1 load case with 10 separate loads applied ??

another day in paradise, or is paradise one day closer ?

Structural engineers would call this ...Load combination ...and not load step
LC = load_1 + load_2 + load_3.......load_10
then apply LC as one load and solve in one step
Is this what you want to do ?

if yes...then this is a question if you software can do this 'automatically' or if you have to do it 'by hand'

I am not quite sure what you are asking, but here is a tip from experience: If you have constructed a Force Vector for each different load then you can simply add all the force vectors together. Sounds too simple but it is just the principle of superposition. And if you need to do load combos then you can just multiply the force vectors by the applicable load factor and add them together.

EDIT: When I say force vectors I mean at the global level.

Jeb? Jeb? ... Are you there Jeb ??
