do you guys make loose material lists for TI jobs or is my company fucking with me?

The shop has to know what they are supposed to send to the job. When I worked in a contractor's office, the TI material lists included heads, RC's, 90's, hanger rings, rods, hanger attachment (beam clamp, Tolco 58 or sammy), approximation of bulk 1", and anything else job specific. We would even indicate if they needed something more than an 8' ladder.

Why wouldn't you provide this list for your projects for the company you work for?

We do inspection and repair, no installs. I look at the job and make a material list, and a tool list.
I hate having to make 2 trips to the job!

because there have been jobs where I didn't provide a list and it was no problem to never be heard of again, lol. you never know when you work for the fire department

I guess that makes sense travis thanks.
