Low Carbon in MS 1047-1

hi all

i having an issue with some carbon material which has been bought in as 26kg blends.
these are melted down in a 30kg inverted furnace and cast.
after cast sample analysis is taken,the carbon levels are way below the spec.

bought in charge Carbon = 0.020
cast sample analysis = 0.016

can anyone help please?

Did you take into account the oven efficiency value in the load calculation?
If so, maybe you overestimated it.
