I am looking for a submersible pump with an operating point at 105 gpm at 38 ft TDH. Most of the pumps I've seen in this range operate near the shutoff point.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

PS I need it to pass a minimum 2 1/2" solids. Thanks.

Trying to pass solids of that size at the hydraulic conditions you have does limit your pump selection possibilities. I have used vortex recessed impeller dry pit and submersible pumps for this problem. Suggest you contact WEMCO, located in Utah. There are others but they were the original.

To try to pass 2 1/2" solids, you will need a large pump discharge and recessed impeller. Depending on the nature and shape of these solids, you could go with hard impeller or rubber lined impeller. You will also need to run at a lower speed to reduce the flow and head for this pump. Try calling the Wier group and Hazleton submersible pumps. If the application is 'critical' my opinion is to use Hazleton.
Best regards and good luck.

Don't know where you are based but most of the international electric submersible solids handling pump manufacturers have pump capable of handling your minimum 2.5" solids capacity at the flow & head you are looking for.

Example on a quick check on ABS, Flygt, Grundfos ( Sarlin) all had pumps around 3 to 3.5 kwatt,3 phase suitable.

Unless there are other restrictions, not menioned, you shouldn't have a problem sourcing a suitable pump.

The problem with a conventional sewage pump (w/ 3" throughlet and 4" piping) operating at >100 GPM, the piping velocities are not adequate to transport the solids.
I think of grinder pumps and smaller piping for flow rates less than 100 GPM (or around 100 GPM).
You are in the blackhole range of sewage pumps!
