LPG Transfer system

Dear all,

Is there a movable system(has suction strainer, LPG pump(disch. pr > 25 Kg/cm2 & flow can be less)in trolley) .

We have the LPG cross country Pipeline. during maintenance of the pumps & filter, huge qty of LPG is flared. I want the system to transfer this LPG into the process pipeline, which is at 15 to 20 kg.cm2.

Can anyone help me out to do so...?

You probably need to add more full size pumps on standby to be able to start those before shutting down one of the pumps you will work on. There should be no reason to flare unless you are losing too much discharge pressure and slowing the pipeline flowrate down too much when you shut a pump down. That will back up your supply system, raise pressure and force to flare.
I imagine. You have not posted anywhere enough details about this problem to say anything more. In fact that was far too much.

Depending on the size of your pump, station, line and environment(as someone said,to little info), you can hot tap( check with management and local codes), bypassing the flow stream or when you have the access to the stream during down time, it is not difficult to build at each station a bypass method utilizing downstream suction/gravity to evacuate the liquid, thereby only needing to flare small amounts of vapor. Remember, the liquid to vapor phase is aprox. 270 cu. ft vapor to 1 gallon liquid. These are not considered actual figure for this post as they are not critical to this thread.
 
It is probably cheaper to flare than to recoup.

A " huge quantity" to be reclaimed in a reasonable period of time for maintenance purposes may mean a lot of horsepower to recompress and liquify LPG.
 
That's why you don't let it go in the first place. I'll just let him decide if it's worth it. The way I look at is, if it wasn't economical to compress it, what is he doing with a pipeline full of the stuff ... at 20 Kg/cm2.
