Hello,

I am using LS-DYNA for a certain Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) simulation. It is a structural analysis. I am interested in finding out the smoothing length history for specific particles as I believe that they are causing excessive reduction in the system timestep. I know that I can use SETTINGS>SPH when viewing the d3plot file to visually see the change in smoothing length.

Is it possible to obtain the smoothing length history in the form of a plot and a tabulated set of values? If so, how?

Thank you,
Jayghosh

EDIT from OP:

I found what I wanted in the DATABASE_SPHOUT card. In LS-Prepost, there's an option to see either stress or strain results in SPHOUT. The radius of influence option will provide the smoothing lengths of the element selected in the form of a plot.
