Magnetic particle test is type of NDT (Non-destructive test) and can't used at high temperature (limitation temp.)

Is there any liquid using in magnetic particle test at High temperature.

Please define high temperature.

What are your limitations based on? are you concerned that the liquid will boil away? or that the material is transformed into austenite and hence is no longer magnetic?

If your concern is with the iquid, utilize a dry magnetic particle inspection procedure.

thank you Rish2000

We have vertical pipe and its temperature above than 110 degree.
and we want to check on the welding, but as you know DP test and liquid or dry magnetic particle test can not be used.
is there any type of magnetic particle tests can use it for situation.

Vertical Dry MT is done quite often. Though if I was to preform overhead Dry MT I would specify the shape of the Magnetic Particles rather than use the off-the-shelf particles. Look at some of the Mil-grade magnetic particles.
