Hello everyone.

Does anyone know a material for a ball bearing that have to support 300°C in service, which would be quite simple to find and supply?

We have specific ball bearing designed, and we would like to change the material to be able to design a machine supporting 300°C. Any idea?

Thank you for your precious help!

Is it possible to cool the bearings by a suitable jacket around it,so that you could avoid the use of expensive high temperature bearing materials?

You will also need high temp synthetic lubricant. Look on the Kytox web site.
Ceramic bearings, at least ceramic rollers are probably needed for this.
