Hi!

I am looking for some information of the material properties of Fuller's Earth. I am designing a silo in accordance with Eurocode 1-4-1 Actions on Silos and the Appendix E doesn't contain Fuller's Earth material, thus I can't get required values of the angle of internal friction and the lateral pressure ratio K. Can anybody point me where I can find what I need please?

Regards!

A quick check of what it is as to composition, I'd be mighty safe in any design due to possibility of expansion if moisture somehow gets added. Montmorillonite mineral being there expands greatly due to its attraction for water. Sometimes one has to measure the angle of repose for angle of friction if granular and no cohesion, but who knows.
