Is it possible to change the trailing numbers in measurement dimension to 0 (distance, length etc). Also is it possible to change the orienation of the displayed measurement?
we are using this for showing LxBxH of engines with various configuration and need to present with management.

If you're talking about the temporary on-screen display of your measurement, try going to...

Preferences -> User Interface -> General

...and change the number of decimal places shown for 'Dialog Box'.

Thanks John.

But it won't allow me to use 0 as number of precision (we wanted a whole number without any decimals)

guess i have to happy with 1 decimal place :)

John,
There is a checkbox named "Use System Precision in Information Window" in the preferences->userinterface->general tab, what does "system precision" means.

'System precision' refers to displaying the number actually being computed by the system showing all significant figures. Generally speaking, for Windows this number is 16, which is why you can't enter a value greater than 14 in the 'Information Window' entry when the 'System Precision' option is toggled OFF (this is explained further below). The reason why there even IS a 'System Precision' option is that years ago, different operating systems computed floating-point numbers to differing numbers of significant figures (this may still be true today between Windows versus Linux/MAC-OS, but I don't know that for certain) and so this option simply allowed the user to show whatever the system he was running on was capable of computing. Note that internally, in terms of the data records stored by NX, these values are rounded down a couple of places so as to eliminate the chance of so-called 'round-off' error creeping into geometric computations, which is why we limit the user defined value to 14 for the Information Window setting as this will generally be indicative of the numerical values which are actually being used by NX.

That being said, this is why there is an absolute limitation on the size of a model in NX which can be created and still be guaranteed to be accurate and that when used in a subsequent modling operation will result in a valid model. This is based on the model being contained within the volume of space defined by a cube whose center is at absolute 0,0,0 and which measures 1km (1,000 Meters) on a side.

Anyway, I hope this explains what these User Interface 'preferences' mean, which keep in mind, as indicated, these are 'User Interface' preferences which means that NO matter what values you enter into this dialog, it will have NO effect whatsoever of how the system is computing numerical results, but rather is only affecting how the system will be REPORTING these values to the user.
