HELLOW !

Is there a portable instrument that allows me to measure retained austenite "in-situ", or the only possible way is via the traditional lab sources such as : X-ray , .... and others ?

Barkhousen Effect devices will allow you to do this, and I believe some are portable. But, the information is qualitative/semi quantitative. How accurate do you need to be?

Semi quantitative would do. Could you give me a web site and/or a contact on the Co. that supplies such an equipment ?
