hi everyone,
we have under our facilities a 6kV swgr UNIGEAR ZS1, ABB made. Recently we had a fault in one of our motor starter panels (Fuse contactor VD4 type). The rear part of the contactor compartment is quite damaged.
In the same swgr we have a spare panel identical to the faulty one.
Cable length is not enough for re-connection to the spare panel. So I was wondering if is technically acceptable to prepare a 6kV cable (aprox 10m) for connecting the spare panel and use the cable compartment of the faulty panel as a junction box. All protections will be implemented in the new Spare panel of course.
Thanks
