Can someone explain to me what a Mild Reinforced Slab is? As apposed to just a Reinforced Slab. Why add "mild"? Where can I find the definition? ACI? Could not find the word mild in ACI 318-05.

In the US "mild" refers to basic bar reinforced concrete as opposed to prestressing strands.

So in the UK, mild refers to 40 ksi steel and high strength is 60 ksi steel or the SI equivalent.

In the US, mild is 60 ksi. Where is this documented?

No documentation - just the cultural lingo used here in the US.

We use the term mild reinforcing to refer to deformed reinforcing bars in post-tensioned slabs.
