Having a hard time finding a mfg that I know must exist out there somewhere. I'm hoping someone knows of a company that manufactures small clamps that do various things that mount to .25" diameter wire? Similar to companies that make structural framing fittings for 1.0" - 2.0" square or round tubing. Layman terms would be an erector set type things for .25" dia. wire. Of course I've looked through mcmaster carr as well, nothing there.

Sounds like you're describing Tinkertoys and clothes pins. But the labware above fits the bill pretty well, too.

Can you elaborate on "various things"? Dial indicator clamps like this one can at least connect one 1/4" wire to another at any angle if that is one of the things you are looking for: https://www.mcmaster.com/5148a24

Look for filmmaking grips and gags.
One company I know of is Matthews Studio Equipment msegrip.com
I think most of what they have are for 5/8" bar.
