Does anybody know what's the minimum bolt diameter permitted by AISC due to environment extreme conditions?

Are you referring to providing sacrificial thickness (sacrificial bolt diameter in this case) to accommodate extreme environmental conditions.
 
Hi GC Hopi, yes, that's what I'm talking about.
 
For nautical applications, it's 1" diameter but that is a federal specification requirement.
 
I don't believe AISC addresses this, I think they (AISC) are more of the opinion that structural bolts need to be protected from corrosion with paint or with hot dip galvanizing where applicable.
