modal load participation Uz

hello,
i have concrete building , i want to neglect modal load participation Uz so i just need the modal load participation in Ux and Uy directions , i have attached image to explain more !

If you don't want to consider the vertical component of the building modes you can ignore the value UZ. Is the excitation applied to Z axis as well or only horizontally?
