Model Diagram

Desr all,
I'm a new user to risa, using V5.5 and does any one can tell me how to add model diagram to report or convert the model diagram into image(.png) file.

You can print the model file to a pdf, and then convert to an image file.

Version 5.5 is extremely old. Like, so old I'd be concerned.

Just an FYI Version 5.5 was released in 2004-ish.

The design codes will be pretty old / out of date. Concrete design would have been pretty new. The wood design probably wouldn't have had Glu-Lams or composite lumber yet.

Perhaps, but he also may not. Why would a new user to RISA be using a 15 year old version?

If that's all your office has, it's time to spend some money on an upgrade. Unfortunately that's just the cost of doing business.

It does seem a little odd. Though I try not to assume the worst.

When I worked for RISA, there were times where a company used the program very infrequently. Maybe they upgraded once every 5 or 7 years. As long as it was doing what they needed it to do (usually simple analysis, but no code checking).
Then they'd upgrade only when the program stopped being compatible with the computers they were running.

I should also point out that the last 3 years or so, RISA will refuse to allow those folks to upgrade. They must instead purchase a much more expensive "subscription" license. Because of this, I suspect we'll see a lot of RISA users from just before the subscription licenses came out using old perpetual licenses and refusing to upgrade.

where i stay it's the only i get my hands on, i dont think anybody use it but i find it easy to understand.

Also, anyone can provide me risa with higher version than i'm using right now.
