Hello,

I am working on a project that looks at the effects of the
microstructure on fatigue crack growth in metallic materials.

Thus, I used OOF2 to create a FE mesh based on micrographs that I took from the actual microstructures.

I exported the mesh to Abaqus but I am not very familiar with how to run a fatigue crack growth simulation.

Do you have any idea regarding this problem ?

Thanks,

Tasos

Abaqus now has XFEM capability which may be suitable for what you need.
