Hey everyone,
I have started using the Mouls Wizard in NX 9.0 a few days ago and I have some issues when I want to open a project.

So when I open my part and initialise a new project in the Mold wizard, I can use all functions properly. When saving, several dozen files are created in addition to my original part and each file contains one component of mold and mold base.
Once I close NX and want to continue working on this mold later, I haven't figured out how to do this. If I open the original part, I don't see any of the mold parts in the assembly tree. All I can do is initiaise a new project and start over...

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?
Thank you very much in advance!

I believe instead of opening your original part file, you must open the top level assembly. Then from there you make the original part file your work, or displayed part.

I also think it is suggested to change the assembly load options to Load Interpart Data, Load Parents: All Levels.

Hope that helps.

Yep, that helps a lot. Out of the hundreds of new files, OriginalFile_top00 is the one that contains everything.

Thanks a lot!!

That is one of my biggest frustrations with Mold Wizard. The excessive file creation, with little intuitive naming structures.

I have tried to create a custom project, of just the files I need with names altered, but the functionality of MW becomes lost, once those files are removed or renamed.
