Monel 400 Vs Monel K400 2

Can anyone explain me what is the difference between Monel 400 & K400? Are both represents the same with different name?

Not heard of K400 before now, but K500 is a precipitation-hardenable version of 400, i.e. added Ti and Al to form precipitates, though at the cost of slightly lower corrosion resistance.

Another useful characteristic of the Monel Alloy K-500 is that it is virtually nonmagnetic. Monel Alloy 400 does not have nonmagnetic characteristics.
