Hello, I have a patran model and have assigned the subcases and sent them to Nastern for analysis.

I have imported the results from the.XDB file in Partan for review, and I found a new subcase has been generated with the same ID, but the software adds SC before it.

For example, I defined a subcase called SLS1, and the software generated a new subcase called SC:SLS1.

The problem is that the results are different in the same cases. SLS1 and SC:SLS1

For example, the deflection in case SLS is 6.5 mm, while in SC:SLS1 it is 4.6 mm.

Anyone have any clue what's happening here?

i attached a pic show the generated load cases

thanks

Did you run the job more than once? The XDB file is a fully relational database, and if an XDB file exists with the current job name, and you run the job again, the XDB file will be updated with the new results. This might explain the two sets of results.

To be sure, either delete the XDB file BEFORE you run the job again, or better still, do not use the XDB file to store your post processing results. In your SUBCASE parameters, choose the h5 file as the results storage method rather than XDB. Why? XDB is an old results format, and although most results data still appears to be written to it, some of the new capabilities (like MONITOR point output) are not.
