Are there any multi-span steel girder design programs available online?
My bridge is located in Pennsylvania, but PENNDOT's steel girder program will only analyze multi-span bridges, not design them.
I don't need the program for final design, just a quick and dirty approximation for preliminary design.
I downloaded the SIMON program from AISC, but I've never used it before and every time I tried to run it, it would hang up. Also, judging from the input, it didn't seem like it would design multi-span bridges.
I see that MDX has a free 15 day trial, but I've never used the program before and am not sure of it's capabilities.
Thanks!
