MV Switchgear/MCC for Shipbuilding refer to ABS Standard 2

Dear All,
I have prepare specification for MV Switchgear/MCC for install in Shipbuilding. Regarding to the COMPANY requirement, Electrical Equipment will be certified by UL and also by ABS. Subject to be highlighted by ABS is Inclination matter. They said all equipment of this package shall be required to operate at static and dynamic angles of inclination athwartships of 22.5 degrees and fore & aft of 10 degrees. Athwartships and fore & aft inclinations occurs simultaneously. In addition, switches and controls are required to remain in their last set position up to an angle of 45 degrees.
I have tried to link within any VENDOR/MANUFACTURER and also any Electrical standard to looking for what kind of test will be implemented to this subject. Until now I can not find satisfied answer. Some of them said "It will be part of Vibration Test" or "Environment Test". Can any body give me other answer, perhaps he/she ever have experiences with this matter or may be have resources. In the projects I've worked on for naval vessels the two references that come up for the switchgear are MIL901D and ABS/Naval Vessels Rules (NVR)

The only switchgear vendor I now that meets all the requirments for our local shipyard NASSCO) is Point8 Power out of Louisiana, maybe a search or their website or talking to someone from them could help? I'm sure there are others but this is the only ones I have experience with.

I've been involved with a little switchgear manufacturing for marine in the US. I've never heard of the equipment actually tested to the inclination levels at all. The vibration test is usually only needed for non-ABS certified components. Go to the ABS website and you can see all the switchgear parts and pieces that ARE type approved. Lots. Use them if you can and things will go smoother with ABS.

ABS will know best on your questions. The ABS testing of switchgear may be required by CFR for many vessels if propulsion related, see for example:

This calls out ABS Steel Rules, Part 4-8-5/5.11, which in 5.11.3 has a callout for testing of such.
