Hi,

I am actually using NASGRO to simulate the crack growth propagation into a panel and i don't obtain good results.
In fact, i use my own spectrum and i put inside stresses in MPa (i use the program in SI units...) but fractures occures ten times more rapidly than the reality....!!!!!

Is someone can help me??
Maybe someone had the same problem and succeed in solve it....

Thank you by advance.

All,

From what I understand, Nasgro 3.0 is public domain, but NASA shut down the free download site last October. If it is public, I need a copy. I have some fracture work to do and can't afford the $3000 for one seat of NASGRO 4.0.

AS quirky as it might be, it has tob e better than the original Flagro

I downloaded /NASGRO 3.0/ 2 years ago.
It is about 15MB

Hard to answer that one without more data, did you include a retardation model?

I have a copy of NASGRO 3.0.21 that I suppose I could burn and send. However, I would strongly recommend you switch to AFGRO []. It's free, it includes the NASGRO model (and others), and integrates with Microsoft Excel. I think you may need to create an account to download it but it's well worth it.

Regards,
