I have been trying to use some over the counter pulse time relays and change up the capacitors to get the 6 seconds needed, but are having problems with them trigering upon power up. I would like to make my own pcb board that would control 3 pairs of one shot relay drivers, to control 3 motors with reversing control, and have them so only one direction could be triggered at a time per pair. The application is 12volt with relay contacts of 15 amp needed. The 6 seconds does not have to be exact. I have been looking at 556 timers, but would like to possibly try another route, possibly digital? I have very limited electronics background, but unfortunately are already alocated to get this accomplished, (last year I used the over counter pulse time relays, and didn't have the power up triggering problem, I don't know why this year?) ANY IDEAS OR LINKS WOULD BE LIFESAVING!
