I am not a mechanical engineer or understand any of it at all and all the info I found online was Google search.
I am trying to match to the same motor spec which is 150,000 HP.
The torque I got online was 437666.6667 for the 150,000 HP.
If I was to use a gear ratio of 30:1, the estimate torque I need on the motor would be 14589 @ 60RPM, which is 167 HP.
I think my calculation might be wrong, would it be possible if you correct me?
1 = From Electric motor
30 = To Generator
Electric motor RPM is 60RPM with 14589 foot pound of torque @187HP
Output estimate is 1800 RPM with 437666.6667 foot pound of torque @150,000HP
Electric motor>>>>>A side of gear>>>>>>>> output to be side of gear where its 30x the more than A side of gear
