Hello,
I want to print a medical tool with Peek filament. Do you have any suggestion for an affordable 3d printer that prints Peek with good accuracy (I want to print a hole with 1mm diameter)?

Thank you in advance.

What accuracy are you looking for? If you need a very accurate hole, print it smaller than the final size, then drill or mill it to size. 3D printed parts have shrinkage.

PEEK has a liquefy temperature (Tm) of 343°C, in this manner, you will require an all-metal extruder equipped for coming to (and holding) temps upwards of 400°C. Each printer/slicer is distinctive and you should tinker a bit to discover a procedure that works for you. One of the more troublesome parts of printing with PEEK was inspiring it to adhere to the fabricate plate. The best material we found was Ultem® PEI sheet or tape.

Here are our recommendations - which should act as a good starting point for you and your particular set-up.

Extruder Temps: 360 - 390°C

Bed Temps: 110 - 120°C

Bed Prep: Ultem® PEI tape or sheet

Spout Height: Minimal separation amongst spout and construct surface (squeeze first layer straightforwardly into the assemble surface)

Expulsion Multiplier: 1.0

Expulsion Speed: 1000mm/min (gradual wins the day)

Carbon fiber is more rough than unfilled materials, so broadened utilize will bring about more wear on your spout.

Cautioning: PEEK tends to stick to metal (PEEK cherishes metal). So make a point to cleanse out your extruder before it chills off or you run the hazard lasting stops up. Truly - we know this direct.
