Negative Volume Elements

Hello,

I'm trying to run a rather straight forward, or so I thought, Abaqus loading case. After running the job I get an odb_f file that says there are 98 elements that are too distorted and 16 volume elements that are zero, small, or negative. As of right now I am not using any mesh criteria. Does anyone have a set of mesh criteria that can help eliminate these issues?

Are there any other warning or error messages in the .dat and .msg files? You probably won't have a .msg file because the analysis has not run (which explains the .odb_f file).
