Can anyone advise in the NFPA has any guidelines for the re-connection of Fire Detection & signal wiring after they have been cut or sabotaged by others.

Our riser wiring for the Fire system was sabotaged and I need some info for the consultants if same can be re-joined
to meet the NFPA specs.

Regards
ian

And you might as well talk with the local fire marshal or other AHJ because you're going to want to know for sure what they will accept since they get to interpret whatever the NFPA code might say.

"Theory is when you know all and nothing works. Practice is when all works and nobody knows why. In this case we have put together theory and practice: nothing works... and nobody knows why! (Albert Einstein)

As a fire alarm planner, you can reinstall the wires; just make sure that all wire splices are in boxes clearly marked.
You just need to make sure that all devices are put back in the correct or closes to the original position.
