No longer need Excel for Design Tables !! 2

Well I want to use the VBA tools to give it a more straight forward feel. I have used DT's in the past to some very high extents and I want to apply the VBA code to make a programable part. Since there seems to be limitations to using VBA code in Design Tables I will have to approach this from outside of Solidworks and make a completely separate excel table that will program part. This can be accomplished pretty easy through VBA.

I used to have an assembly on my website that you could make a change to the Excel sheet and push a button and the assembly would update. No where in the SW model was there a relationship to an internal/external DT.

It was pretty slick and I think this is going to have to be my choice for the automation I seek.

There was some discussions on SolidWorks forums about that kind of tool. Do not remember the threads name but maybe you could find it from there.

Also VBA support for new versions of SolidWorks is not so good as it was earlier, for example 64-bit platforms you could encounter some issues.
