Hi, I'm from México and I work for an american automotive company.

We use Teamcenter 8 and Nx 7.5. A couple of colleagues have this "show revisions" button when they're replacing a component in NX. The rest of the computers we have checked (from other colleagues) don't have this button at all. This would be really helpful for the rest of us.

Do you know if this have to be somehow activated or why is it only present in their computers?

I can provide an screenshot if required.

Thank you,
Francisco R.

I attached a couple of screenshots of how the dialog looks in a workstation with the button, and a workstation without the button.

Check the customer default "Teamcenter Integration for NX > General > Multiple Revisions > Enable Multiple Revisions"

Are you running the same version of NX7.5 ? Check Help - About NX - System Information, then the first three lines should be identical on all computers.
Maybe the "button" was added to, say, NX753 ?

It does not have anything to do with the "Enable Multiple Revisions" setting in the customer defaults.
We run NX7544, we all have the button and "Allow multiple revisions" is OFF

Thanks socialcad and Toost.

We started comparing almost all the customer defaults options but everything seemed to be the same. But we just checked our versions, and it seems you are right. The guy with the button actually has version 7.5.4.4, while I and pretty much everyone else have 7.5.0.32.

We will be checking out with IT why are there different NX versions in the office.

I'll let you know if this was the cause of the issue (probably is).

Thanks!
