if u do not mean books taking a college FEA course will be helpful.
 
HBAREA: Any college level course on FEA will probably be okay. There are two books that I like for an introduction to fea. One is "FINITE ELEMENTS" by Gallagher. The other is "FINITE ELEMENT MODELLING" by Spyrakos. Spyrakos is a good basic book, Gallagher is the next level. If you are going to use fea software, I suggest you take the developer's course first, then the theory course.
