I created a drawing template and put my usual attribute notes in it for the name I used <W@$SH_PART_NAME> but now I want to move the note to another location but when I open the template its hidden and I can't grab it or see it, it is there and working when I add a drawing

Is there any way to move it now?

Thanks

Try this:
Add a component that has the required attribute. Now that the note is visible in the template, move it to the desired location. Delete the component and save your template.

LOL, I thought that was going to work cowski, but once the other ones have a value, once I save as to get back to my template name, all the other ones now have a value from the part I opened up, except the name, which worked as planned

It is common to have a 'dummy' component in your drawing template to test out the attributes and arrange notes, etc. It is ok to leave the dummy component in the template as long as the dummy component can't be found by your load options. In this case, the dummy component will be replaced by the actual component that you tell the template to reference.
