Ok, I'm sure this is one of those questions that many will say "what are you blind it's right there". We recently moved up to 1973, from 12. I'm designing runners for rubber injection molds. I would sketch out a runner profile assign a dimension for a set length then design my runners to the same length via sketch. In 1973 for the life of me I can't find this command. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Could you be thinking about a "User Defined Feature"?

No, it was in sketch, I believe it was a profile or arc length dimension.

Found it, it was under rapid dimension, perimeter dimension. Forest for the trees.

So I found the perimeter dimension, applied it to the sketch, now the sketch isn't updating.

after you create the sketch dimension RMC on it and make it DRIVING

Is this the "New Sketcher" or the "Old Sketcher" ?
I think that I remember something about the "new sketcher" and the perimeter dimensions, and...

The more you know about a subject, the more you know how little you know about that subject.

I ended up finding in, well played Siemens, hiding it in plain sight under the rapid dimension tab.

Thanks for the update.
Don't forget to use the COMMAND FINDER in the upper right of the NX window.
