NX 7.5 Drafting application layering

Had a question on layering. Is it possible to move objects up and down similar to Powerpoint so that object appears behind another ? Reason I ask is that I am doing a presentation type drawing that has 2D components drawn right on the drawing side along with import 3D graphics.

Layers have nothing to do with 'depth' or moving something closer or further from the observer. If the objects you're drawing are solid or sheet bodies then hidden-line-removal will take care of that for you if the object's 3D positions match your order of visibility (the closet object being on 'top' and furhtest away being on the 'bottom').

Well unfortunately, none of the bodies are sheets or solids. Its all 2D graphics and any 'solids' or 'sheets' are only area fills. THe other imports are jpegs in the background.

If they are all 2D curves, then you will have to do the editing yourself, removing the 'hidden' curves/segments using...

Edit -> View -> View Dependent Editing...
