NX 8 motion simulation takes long time to finish

Hi,

I'm running a simple motion simulation on NX 8.0, however it takes a long time to complete the calculation process. Even when I made a simple change like, change the force from 20N to 30N. I used a few 3D contacts as my connectors.

I don't know if this is normal or I didn't used it the right way?

Please let me know if you have any thoughts. Thanks!

I have been having the same issue using NX 9. There seems to be no reason as to the amount of time the calculations require from seconds to hours.

Try to reduce / simplify the solids used in the 3D Contact to the area where the Contact really occurs.
