I have tried to search the forum to see if this is happening to anyone else but haven't found anything.

Basically when I update a broken view, I have dimensions being hidden. I am not sure whey this is happening, and am not sure how to edit/prevent it. I'm attaching an image to try and illustrate.

Once a dimension is hidden I don't know how to un-hide/show it. Going to View->Show, does not show the hidden dimensions.

This is beginning to become an annoying issue and I would like to know if there is a solution I'm missing somewhere.

Thanks,

We too have had issues with broken views and GTAC told us that we need to expand the view and put the dimensions in that way. If you suppress the view break you should be able to see the hidden annotations.

what is the point of breaking a view if you have to suppress the silly thing to see the sections and dimensions? This means, unless I"m mistaken that the final drawing will have to choose between seeing your break line or seeing your annotations. Our customers wont' be getting the UG files, and will be dealing with PDFs which won't have the ability to show the hidden.

The only reason I mentioned suppressing the break to see the hidden annotation was to explain how you can remove them. GTAC told us that we need to expand our view and add the dimensions that are dissappearing from the drawing in the view itself. For example a chamfer dimension will not work on a broken view because NX will not select the edge. However, if I expand the view and add it in the view then it will show up in the view and work with the break. I am not entirely pleased with this work around because I believe I should be able to put all my dimensions on the drawing but I am just relaying to you what I have learned.
